Finally…a front row seat! Too little too late?

On Tuesday 9th August 2011, in the middle of the summer holidays and with just 9 days to go until the Croxley Rail Link public consultation [farce] ends, my groans of last week have at last been heeded and the one solitary consultation poster has been hauled to the front entrance of Watford Met Line Station. Hurrah!

CRL consultation poster finally takes centre-stage at Watford Met Line stn.

But is this (literally) ‘too little, too late’? Buried in the smaller print it does mention that Watford Met station could close as a result of the proposed Croxley Rail Link but frankly it’s not very obvious to the first glance of a hurried, passing commuter.  it’s quite apparent that LRT does not want to consult meaningfully with Watford Met Station users – they have a fairly good idea of what feedback they would get and it’s unlikely to be positive.
